International Women’s Day: CABEF on the Path to a Webinar:

In the lead-up to the celebration of the 39th edition of International Women’s Day, which will be celebrated on March 8, 2024, the Central Africa Business Energy Forum (CABEF) is organizing a webinar under the theme: Women in Energy & Hydrocarbons: Inclusion and Challenges.

This online event aims to highlight female leadership and expertise in the energy and hydrocarbon sectors.

In an era where global growth and evolution are increasingly digital, women’s voices and contributions are becoming more significant in the industrial world. Such growth would not be fully appreciated without real transition and experience sharing. It is in this spirit that the Central Africa Business Energy Forum is organizing a webinar on March 7, 2024, starting at 3 PM.

This webinar will provide an opportunity to discover the unique perspectives, successes, and challenges of female leaders in the global energy sector. Initiated by Mrs. Nathalie Lum, Chairwoman of the CABEF, this event aims to bring women together to foster inspiration and exchange around female excellence and expertise, overcoming distance barriers and logistical constraints.

It is worth noting that the CABEF is a meeting and exchange platform for the Central African sub-region, bringing together all member countries of the Economic Community of Central African States (ECCAS) and neighboring countries. Its goal is the development of the sub-regional energy industry and the promotion of South-South public-private partnerships.

During this 100% online meeting, various prominent female figures in the energy industry will share stimulating presentations, enriching discussions, and inspiring testimonies. This panel of seven women will feature the presence of Mrs. Ndolenodji Alixte Naimbaye, Minister of Hydrocarbons of Chad; Mrs. Manzoua Véronique widow Moapea Bio, General Manager of the Cameroonian Petroleum Depots Company (SCDP Cameroon); and Mrs. Marisol Nchama, CEO of Elite Construction (Equatorial Guinea), among other significant figures in the sector. These women, through their excellence, are transforming the global energy landscape. The platform will offer participants valuable ideas and innovative perspectives.

CABEF invites all women, whether professionals in the sector or simply passionate about energy issues, to connect on Thursday, March 7, at precisely 3 PM.
